In 1988 Sheila moved to Olli
He always wanted to have a breed-cat, like e.g. a “Heilige Birma”.
But his wife of that time somedays came home with a little Tabby cat, she got from friends ... Sheila was a little
babycat and of course they keep her.
Unfortunately the cat was not really healthy; from time to time she got epileptical accumulations. Mostly once in a
year, sometimes two or three, but not enough to decide to give her strong medicine with incalculable side effects .
Since 1997 Sheila got a new can-opener: Heike ... you know: one of two marriages will break ....
Sheila was spoiled more and she thanked it with a lot of confidingness and attachment. She had this great talent to run
between our feet, that we often had the choice to give her a kick or to break our legs. If one of us leaves the house, she complained it very loudly.
Sometimes their accumulations were so strong, that we thought “that was it...”, but again and again she found the
strenght to go on. Nevertheless in 2002 the time for saying “good-bye” came. She started to limp from one day to the other, she looked for places to hide and wanted to be alone.
After a veterinary odyssey, we found “our” Dr. Goede in Schweinfurt. In the middle of a night, after our sweet little
cat cried out of pain, we called him - because all the other veterinaries did not pick up their phones - this was our first contact and in some minutes he knew what kind of problem Sheila had: she had a thrombosis
and had a shock and had fear of death and probably mad pain!!!
He saved her live with enormous amounts of medicines ... but this was the last time of saving. She started to suffer
some days after that - and her suffering became so hard, that we and our vet .... you know....
She is alway with us - in our hearts in our souls - and we found a very special place for her under a tree.
